Industrial PPH valves for chemical and process piping systems, including true union ball valves, socket fusion strainers, butterfly valves and flanged ball valves. Manufactured from β-PPH with PTFE or EPDM sealing options according to valve type, these valves provide reliable flow control, pipeline isolation and filtration for corrosive-medium transportation, chemical processing, wastewater treatment and industrial piping systems.

PPH Valves – Ball Valve, Butterfly Valve & Strainer

PPH Valves are designed for industrial thermoplastic piping systems where corrosion resistance, reliable flow control, pipeline isolation and filtration are required. Manufactured from β-PPH, these valves are developed for demanding chemical and industrial piping applications involving corrosive liquids, wastewater and other process media.

The PPH Valves product range combines four commonly used industrial valve configurations into one product series: PPH True Union Ball Valve (Socket Fusion), PPH Strainer (Socket Fusion), PPH Butterfly Valve and PPH Flanged Ball Valve. Each valve configuration is designed for a specific piping function, connection method and operating condition, allowing engineers and industrial buyers to select the appropriate valve according to pipeline diameter, pressure rating, connection requirements and application conditions.

The range covers nominal sizes from DN15 to DN300 for the standard configurations, while the PPH Flanged Ball Valve can be expanded up to DN350. Different pressure ratings, sealing materials and operating methods are available according to the valve type.

PPH Valve Product Range

1. PPH True Union Ball Valve (Socket Fusion)

The PPH True Union Ball Valve is designed for socket-fusion thermoplastic piping systems and provides a practical solution for frequent pipeline opening and shut-off operations. The valve uses a full-bore ball structure to provide a direct flow passage while maintaining a compact industrial configuration.

Its true union dismountable design allows the valve to be removed from the piping system for inspection, cleaning or maintenance without cutting the pipe. This feature is particularly useful in industrial systems where regular valve maintenance or replacement may be required.

The valve body is manufactured from β-PPH and uses PTFE sealing material. Manual handle operation is standard, while electric or pneumatic actuators can be used as optional operating configurations.

The standard nominal size range is DN15 to DN100, corresponding to OD20 to OD110mm, with PN10 and PN16 pressure ratings. The working temperature range is -10℃ to 95℃.

Typical applications include corrosive liquid pipelines, chemical process systems and socket-fusion piping systems requiring frequent on-off control.

2. PPH Strainer (Socket Fusion)

The PPH Strainer is designed for socket-fusion connection in industrial thermoplastic piping systems. Its primary function is to intercept solid particles, sediment and other impurities in the process medium before they reach downstream equipment.

The strainer uses a Y-type integrated structure with a removable stainless steel filter screen. The screen can be removed for cleaning and replacement, while custom mesh configurations are available according to filtration requirements.

The valve body is manufactured from β-PPH and is rated at PN16. The nominal size range is DN15 to DN100, corresponding to OD20 to OD110mm. The working temperature range is -10℃ to 95℃.

The PPH Strainer is particularly suitable for acid-base wastewater pipelines and industrial systems where pumps, meters, valves and other downstream components need protection from suspended particles and impurities.

By installing the strainer upstream of sensitive equipment, the piping system can incorporate an in-line filtration point while maintaining a compatible PPH thermoplastic connection system.

3. PPH Butterfly Valve

The PPH Butterfly Valve is designed for flow regulation and pipeline shut-off in larger-diameter industrial piping systems. It features a compact structure that helps reduce installation space requirements while providing practical operation for industrial process pipelines.

The valve is available in wafer-type and lug-type installation configurations. The body is manufactured from β-PPH and uses EPDM sealing material. Operating configurations include manual lever and gear-wheel operation, with pneumatic and electric actuators available as optional configurations.

The standard nominal size range is DN50 to DN300, corresponding to OD63 to OD315mm, with a PN10 pressure rating. The working temperature range is -10℃ to 90℃.

The valve provides bi-directional sealing performance and is suitable for large-diameter circulating water pipelines, chemical drainage systems and industrial wastewater pipelines where flow regulation and shut-off are required.

Its compact structure makes the butterfly valve suitable for applications where installation space, pipeline accessibility and operational efficiency are important considerations.

4. PPH Flanged Ball Valve

The PPH Flanged Ball Valve is designed for industrial piping systems requiring a standard flanged connection. It provides a convenient solution for connecting thermoplastic pipelines with compatible equipment, main pipelines and other flanged components.

The valve uses a full-bore ball core and a bolt-on flange connection for equipment and main pipe docking. The body is manufactured using thickened β-PPH injection molding, with PTFE sealing material for the valve sealing system.

The nominal size range is DN15 to DN100, with configurations expandable up to DN350. PN10 and PN16 pressure ratings are available. The valve is operated by a manual handle and features a high platform suitable for actuator mounting.

The working temperature range is -10℃ to 95℃.

The PPH Flanged Ball Valve is designed for heavy-duty, continuous-running industrial main pipelines transporting corrosive media. Its flanged configuration makes it suitable for industrial equipment connections and larger process piping systems where a bolted connection is required.
